Rechts und links unterschiedliche IOL-Parameter vorderer und hinterer Krümmungsradius, Mittendicke, Brechungsindex, die zusammen aber die gleiche Brechkraft (21.0dpt, "dicke Linse") ergeben.Der Unterschied in der Wirkung beträgt im Beispiel mehr als eine Dioptrie. Für das Ray-tracing in OKULIX werden vorderer und hinterer Krümmungsradius, Mittendicke, Brechungsindex und - bei asphärischen IOL - die numerische Exzentrizität, nicht die offensichtlich nur sehr ungenaue "Brechkraft" verwendet.
